The catalogue itself has no date but it cannot be produced before 1910 for it bears on the cover sheet the Gr. VI. 6825 telephone number which Boehm got in 1910. And in the preface of the catalogue, Boehm writes that he has 15 years experience in making Waldzithers, which suggests that the catalogue was most probably printed in 1912 (for the company was founded in 1897). But the pictures of the instruments and the label which is printed in the catalogue are considerably older: Judging from the tuners with one single hump in the middle, they should be dated to 1905/1906. The same holds true for the photos of groups of Waldzither players: The instruments displayed wear (as far as this can be seen) all the old (high) Portuguese style tuners which were used by Boehm only until ca. 1905.
